Privacy Policy — Rendezvous

Rendezvous ("we", "us", or "the platform") operates a marketplace that connects businesses with AI creators. This policy describes what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what your rights are.

1. Information we collect

Account data — name, email address, password (stored hashed), account type (business or creator).
Profile data you choose to provide — company name, industry, bio, skills, profile photo, social links, hourly rate.
Marketplace activity — pain points you post, proposals you submit, messages you exchange.
Usage data — pages viewed, view counts on listings, browser and device metadata via standard server logs.

2. How we use it

To operate the marketplace — show your listings, deliver your messages, route proposals.
To send transactional emails (proposal received, status changes). We do not send marketing emails without consent.
To prevent fraud, abuse, and to enforce our Terms.
To debug and improve the platform via aggregated analytics.

3. How we share it

We share data with sub-processors strictly necessary to run the service:

Supabase — database, authentication, file storage.
Resend — transactional email delivery.
Hostinger — static site hosting.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share your data with advertisers.

4. What other users see

Your name, profile photo, bio, skills/specialty, and any public links you add are visible to other signed-in users and on public listing pages. Your email address is never shown publicly.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use session storage to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your profile, listings, proposals, and message history within 30 days, except where law requires us to retain records longer (e.g. for fraud prevention or tax obligations).

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@rundevoo.sbs from the address tied to your account.

8. Children

Rendezvous is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. International transfers

Our infrastructure providers may store data outside your country of residence. By using Rendezvous you consent to this transfer.

10. Security

Passwords are hashed. Connections to the platform use HTTPS. Database access is gated by row-level security so users can only read and modify their own data and content explicitly shared with them.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app banner before the change takes effect.
